About Us

Who We Are

The Reynoldsburg Community Association, Inc. was organized by a group of civic-minded Reynoldsburg area residents in October 2007. Since then, thousands of Reynoldsburg residents have made the Association's event part of their family's lives. Our mission: to enhance the quality of life for all the residents and families of Reynoldsburg.

We are organized under the laws of the State of Ohio as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Certificate No. 1739572.

Our organization is open to all residents of the Reynoldsburg area. There are no dues of membership meetings. Our Board meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Board meetings are open to the public, and your attendance is welcomed and encouraged.

What We Do

In October 2007 the Community Association was created out of concern that Reynoldsburg had no Independence Day Parade that year. We felt our city should have a participatory celebration of freedom and American Pride. We have hosted the annual Independence Day Parade every year since 2008.

In June 2008 we introduced a series of Family Nights in the Park. We invited the community to join with us at Huber Park for an evening of family-oriented fun, picnics, live entertainment, games, a family-friendly movie, and prizes for the children.

In October 2008 the Community Association assumed coordination of the Community Halloween Party. The party was held at Kennedy park in cooperation with other community partners, include the Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Lady's Auxiliary of the VFW, and others. We hosted approximately 2,000 area children and their parents in 2008 and every year since.

in 2010 and 2011 we hosted the first Spring Fling Dance. Participants danced to live music provided by the Summer Breeze Band, enjoyed light refreshments, and socialized. In 2011 we began coordinating Christmas On The Towne on Main Street, an annual holiday festival that had been sponsored by downtown Reynoldsburg businesses.

In addition to these premiere events, each year the Community Association holds fundraisers such as an annual Spaghetti Dinner each spring. We also participate in community events including the annual Clean-Up Day and the famous Reynoldsburg Tomato Festival.

As we grown, we will sponsor and support other family-friendly activities that promote the spirit of Reynoldsburg.
